These items are beautiful & well made.  They are hand carved in Nepal, the designs are clear, the brass fittings are of excellent quality.  There are designs on the front and back as shown in the photos.
Handcarved in Nepal, this handy magnifier swings in & out of its little case.  Pretty scrimshaw design with butterflies and flowers.  The lens is about the size of a nickel. About 1.5"l x 1"w x .75" deep.
 
Does not have a loop for chatelaine... it's a little too heavy for that anyway.
