We are more than happy to accommodate special orders. We have access to many more needlework items than is feasible for us to keep in stock. There is no extra fee, however certain items may require payment when the order is placed, i.e. charts, fabric, special request Dovo or Wasa scissors.
Special requests for chatelaines, scissor fobs, or lanyards do not require advance payment.....unless you are requesting a large amount of sterling silver.
Most items that must be ordered generally take about 5 days for Crewel Jewels to receive them.
Can I return my special order item?
Returns on special orders are handled on a case by case basis. If something is defective or arrives damaged, of course we will accept a return. However, we cannot accept returns on items like fabric, charts, or items that we do not normally carry.

What do I do if I am interested in a Special Order?
Simply email jewelie@creweljewels.com telling us the details about the item(s) you are interested in. We will get back to you within 24 hours letting you know if we can obtain your item, the price, mailing options, any other pertinent info. You decide whether to go through with it. If not, don't worry about it; no hard feelings. If you'd like to go through with the order, let us know & we will take it from there.
