Attention California Residents (& everyone else) :
Consuming foods or beverages that have been kept or served in crystal leaded products or handling products made of leaded crystal will expose you to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
At Crewel Jewels, we strive to purchase materials for our products that are lead free. With the exception of German and Italian scissors, our supplies are purchased from vendors within the United States who randomly and consistently test their products for lead content. All materials used in Crewel Jewels products fall within the "Class 1" or "Class 2" criteria (see below for additional info on classes).
Please note that all Swarovski Crystal contains 21% lead. Also, the Celestial Crystal (all of our non-Swarovski crystal) contains between 12% and 14% lead. Lead is the key component that gives these crystals their sparkle, and should not present a hazard unless ingested. SO PLEASE DON'T EAT THEM!
