These are small oval shells  - "black lip" (kind of taupe abalone color).  About 1" x 3/4". Tan felted pin cusion.  Needles go in on the sides; they can be pushed all the way in so you don't get jabbed. 
These are round shells with pretty designs etched into them.  This one is 50mm -about the size of a silver dollar (the old kind, not the Indian lady one).  The shell is  an olive green color and it has a navy blue felted pin cusion.  Needles go in on the sides; they can be pushed all the way in so you don't get jabbed.

Clover Needle Threader Fancy Needle Cage
This threader has a unique wider, flat tip for easier threading - even with thicker threads. The case is a pretty green plastic with clover cut-outs inside; there is a protective cover for the threader tip.  It even has a little hole for attaching to a chatelaine!  About 2" in length.  Made in Japan.
 
These pretty open weave pendants hold small cushions for your needle.  About the size of a large marble (some are round, some are egg shaped). Silver Plated.
 
These needle holders are not meant to hold more than a couple of needles.  Be careful not to push the needle all the way thru or you will get jabbed.  Slide the needle in at an angle.
